TOUR DU MONDE -Bicycle Stories, Vienna
Cycling is big in Vienna in 2013. Vienna not only hosted this year´s Velo-City conference, but also dedicated the whole year as the Viennese Year of Bicycle.
Besides various efforts to make the cyclists´ lives easier throughout the city, there´s now also an exhibition taking place in MAK.
Showing an iconic bike collection of the 20th and 21st century, the exhibition will draw visitors into a journey through the history of the bicycle.
As weather in September favors the visit of an exhibition rather than a bike tour, it´s good news that the exhibition still runs until Octobre 6th.
MAK is located in the city center, close to U-station "Stubentor" an easy aprox. 20 minute bike or underground ride from either wombat´s CITY Hostel in Vienna.
