London Is Back – With A Special Rate For You

Earlier this week, the UK said farewell & cheerio to most of the Covid-Restrictions imposed on the country. No more mask mandates, events and nightlife are back - welcoming everybody with doors wide open!

From February 11th onward, fully vaccinated travelers will no longer be required to present a negative COVID-19 test, let alone quarantine – more details on that here.

Naturally this comeback will be celebrated in our Wombat’s City Hostel London as well –

Rather than organizing secret parties with Boris in Downing Street, why not stay with us and do it on the books!  😉 Our womBAR, created for this very purpose, is open to you from Thursday – Saturday, 6PM – 01:30AM.
If you want to take part in the grand re-awakening of the metropolis that is London we have something special in store for you:
You know how our website has the best rates across all platforms anyways? Well, book a stay with us before February 20th and get an extra 15% off using voucher code LONDONCALLING! Valid for all bookings in 2022 😃

A quick outlook on what awaits visitors coming to London this spring:
THE event in February is undoubtably the London Fashion Week taking place from February 18-22. Tons of live-shows, celebrities and consequently glitz and glamor are guaranteed.

It also looks like St Patrick will be able to have a proper comeback this year! The dates for the party including a festival with free performances at Trafalgar Square, tons of irish food and drinks are not carved in stone yet but will take place on one of the weekends around March 17th – stay tuned.
Another free attraction to visit this spring is Battersea Power Station, one of the largest brick buildings in Europe, which serves as an incredible backdrop for this year’s Light Festival 2022 – on for another month until February 27th.

Spectacular light shows, the unforgettable location and a fantastic gastronomic scene (Tapas, Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza, Urban Wine & Craft Beer, you name it!) make Battersea Power Station a definite must-see.

As Wombat's City Hostel London is perfectly connected with public transportation, even Battersea Power Station is almost around the corner and just a 45 minutes ride. For those of you who don’t feel like taking the Tube to get there – why not consider a ride on UberBoat Line RB6!
