London: A Winter Wonderland Extravaganza

1. Hyde Park Winter Wonderland:

As the temperatures drop, Hyde Park undergoes a magical transformation into the renowned Winter Wonderland. A sprawling market awaits, adorned with twinkling lights and the scent of mulled wine. Vienna: Elegance and Tradition in Every Corner

1. Rathausplatz Christmas Market:


Vienna, with its imperial grandeur, hosts the Rathausplatz Christmas Market, a true spectacle in the heart of the city. Set against the backdrop of the stunning City Hall, this market exudes charm and sophistication. Admire the craftsmanship of local artisans as you peruse handmade ornaments and intricate gifts. For 30 years now, the organizers have been focusing on the highest regional quality in all areas. High-quality, homemade handicrafts and, without exception, organic food await visitors at the stalls. Around the hustle and bustle of the stands, there is an extensive supporting program with music acts, workshops and farm animals for children of all ages.


Bingo! This magical market is just a beautiful 10-minute walk from our City Hostel Vienna.


3. Schönbrunn Palace Market:

Experience the charm of the season at the Schönbrunn Palace Market, located in the imperial gardens of this historic palace. This market captures the essence of a bygone era, with nostalgic rides for children and a vast array of traditional Austrian delicacies. Immerse yourself in the music and dance performances that add to the festive ambiance. The Schönbrunn Palace Market offers a royal twist to the Viennese Christmas market experience.


The subway line U4 is a direct and fast connection from our City Hostel to Schönbrunn.


Munich: Bavarian Traditions and Cozy Delights

1. Marienplatz Christkindlmarkt:

Munich's Marienplatz hosts the city's oldest and most famous Christmas market, the Christkindlmarkt. Nestled in the heart of the city, this market features over 160 stalls adorned with festive decorations. Indulge in Bavarian specialties such as pretzels, sausages, and roasted chestnuts. 2. WinterWunderWERK:

Guests of our City Hostel Munich Werksviertel just need to step out the door to find themselves in the midst of WinterWunderWERK, a dazzling festival offering curling at the Container Collective, ice skating at Knödelplatz and an enchanting delicacy market with food trucks. 3. Tollwood Winter Festival:

Budapest: Eastern European Charms and Culinary Delights


1. Budapest Christmas Fair at Vörösmarty Square:

The Budapest Christmas Fair at Vörösmarty Square is a visual feast, offering a blend of traditional and modern Hungarian crafts. And the best part: both events are just a 10-minute stroll from our City Hostel Budapest and some 600 meters apart. So you can visit them both easily on the same day.
