It’s Roasted And It’s PROSTed, Baby!

Lukas Stölner, Managing Director at Kaffee Campus Krems is who we have to thank for our fantastic Wombat’s Roast. Always striving for excellence, Lukas has just been crowned the top roaster at the Vienna Coffee Festival. With that, he qualifies for the World Championships which take place in Taiwan next month. Congratulations to Lukas! We couldn’t be prouder and we’re crossing our fingers for further success!

Wombat’s Café in Budapest Recently Opened

Speaking of our wonderful Wombat’s Roast (the Roast of Champions), now it’s also available in the newly opened Wombat’s Café Budapest. (See photo above.) Soak up the beautiful ambience of the “Ballroom” and enjoy your favourite style of coffee daily, from 08:00-16:00 – only at Wombat’s City Hostel Budapest.

Coffee Week UK 16 – 22 October 2023

UK Coffee Week is the nation’s biggest celebration of coffee, raising funds for Project Waterfall and changing lives in coffee growing communities by providing access to clean water. Hundreds of coffee shops, restaurants, roasters and retailers take part every year by donating from every cup or bag of coffee sold, running events and competitions, and engaging their customers in this exciting and valuable campaign.

100% of funds raised during UK Coffee Week go to Project Waterfall, an initiative established to bring clean drinking water, sanitation & education to coffee growing communities. Wombat’s Café in City Hostel London is proud to be a part of this initiative. So, drop by and treat yourself to a coffee – all for a good cause!

PROSTed! It’s A Wrap!

Oktoberfest 2023 has come and gone. In our City Hostels Munich Hauptbahnhof and Werksviertel, the decorations are down and our staff can finally sleep again. RTL+ created a documentary exploring what Oktoberfest means for tourism and city management in Munich. The Oktoberfest Makers – Between Tradition and Pure Fun, is a worthwhile watch that also gives a behind the scenes look at Wombat’s during this fascinating celebration!
