Finally! WomCAFÉ Opens at Wombat’s City Hostel Munich Hauptbahnhof

WomCAFÉ is a well-established hangout for travellers and locals in Vienna, London, Budapest, and Leipzig. Our City Hostel Munich Werksviertel has also been successfully running one for quite some time. Only at Hauptbahnhof, we simply didn’t have enough space for our tribute to Vienna’s traditional coffee house culture.

Now, we’ve finally had the chance to expand the lobby area, including a retail space next door. With a little bit of construction work, knocking down a few walls, and adding our signature interior design, it’s finally happening:

WomCAFÉ is officially opening at Wombat’s City Hostel Munich Hauptbahnhof on 21 February 2026!

From early-morning espresso runs to chilled afternoon cappuccinos and cozy meet-ups, WomCAFÉ is about to become your new favourite spot right in the heart of Munich. Of course, we serve our exclusive Wombat’s roast coffee as well as selected drinks, comfort snacks, and sweet treats.
