The hostel is in a nice and hip location, city center is reachable within 10 minutes from the hostel. Supermarket around the corner as well as bars and some restaurants. Matresses were very comfortable although the beds can be a bit short for anyone over 1.90m (weird fans installed in each bunk?) Atmosphere in the hostel was rather reserved but overall a good stay, i can recommend the hostel.

A very cool, well organized and fresh hostel for a good price. Sadly, it is super loud outside in the street where a huge party hub is, so it is quite loud in the night. Good if you want to party though, otherwise bring earplugs. Everything was clean and nice. It was weird and a bit annoying that the cleaning lady came in the room an hour before check-out, switched on the light and then went away again (there were people still sleeping).

Good set up, good location and a comfortable experimce. All good.

I came in quite late on a Friday night so the party was going but once you get into the hostel it’s almost impossible to hear. It’s pretty amazing. The rooms were clean, quiet, and super dark. I really appreciated the little fan in my bunk.

The place is clean, low budget price with high quality and high standards, i truly love it so much and i wish to come back there, plus its a great place to get to know new people.

Wombat hostel was our first hostel on our interrailing trip and it exceeded our expectations. No other hostel on our trip surpassed it! The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a really warm and welcoming atmosphere. The common areas and kitchen were spotless and inviting. The rooms were like hotel rooms! Everything was clean and immaculate. We would 100% recommend it.

Super nice staff, very clean and confortable rooms (individual fans and 2 lockers per bed). The neighbourhood is very cool too (art district)

From the comedy night ran in the hostel to the common area. This hostel has a great social vibe. The rooms are modern, clean and have great facilities. (The individual fans for each bed where a lifesaver) Easy to get into the city via the U-Bahn. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Had a wonderful stay at Wombats. Facility was great, safe, big equiped kitchen, terrace, and a fantastic bar. Environment was great, friendly staff, easy check in and Wifi and sleeping quarters were tops 👌

I Like Everything about the hostel . It’s very organized and well maintained. What I didn’t like was the Wi-Fi connection aside that everything was in right Oder. I totally recommend it for anyone who want to stay in Munich.

Relatively quiet, a train away from main attractions in and across the city – had a few issues with lockers and charging ports as well as the shower also flooding a bit but for a hostel was nice and no serious faults or complaints

I slept very well in a 4-bed-female-dormitory. There was a curtain at the bed so I felt quite private. The safe did not work at the beginning (it was the only one left in the room) and it took some time until receptionist had time to repair it. I liked the closeness to the station. I had to leave before 7 am and would have been happy if breakfast had already been available.

27 of July housekeeping stole/threw all my stuff, they were thinking my bed was checked out (staff mistake) for 2 horrible days asking the whole day for my things staff didn’t care!! I left without my belongings. Even tho I have the name of the person who clean the room that day and I will fill a report of stealing.

you can have a few good days in munich without even leave the werksviertel quarter, where you literally will find everything you need for some exciting moves…

Well located and good hostel. Everything you need and only 5 minutes from centre of Munich by train. Night life is excellent! Breakfast okay, would be better with fruit juices and choice of eggs

Everything was perfect, except the people in my room were more interested in lying in bed on their phones with the curtains pulled across, rather than wanting to talk. I thought that was one of the main reasons for staying in a hostel? This factor has nothing to do with Wombats as it’s out of their control, so I definitely don’t hold this against the hostel. Was just unlucky with who I got in my room I suppose. Everything else = 10 out of 10. Well done Wombats!

My first time in this hostel and I had a very good experience: check in (on-line) easy and confirmed at the reception quickly and friendly. Single room simple clean with a confortable bed and quite well soundproofed. Bar is lively and cheerful good beers and other cocktails. Bartenders were friendly and skilled. Kitchen and other common spaces well organised and clean and give a sensation of freedom and relax. The ostel is very close to ostbahnhof. The sourrondings include take away, cafe, disco, nightlife, fun. Concludind in my opinion the whole experience is more than positive.

I found the hostel as a whole a really nice place with hotel type facilities. The fan and locker in the bed is great and a curtain is ideal. To make the experience better for travellers, the reception staff have to be more friendly. Most of them seemed very cold and unhappy to help. The breakfast options are really limited and not worth £5.90 but the coffee was nice. The bar in the evenings is good but inconsistent with when it closes – it’s advertised as closing at 2am so it seems poor that it was closed much earlier than that when there was still plenty of people there wanting drinks. I think the hostel should consider hosting events such as beer pong, quizzes etc so solo travellers feel more welcome and get the opportunity to meet others.

Cozy, clean and clever! I loved how the beds were like small private cocoons with curtains and charging lockers. And how the common areas and the bar were perfect for hanging out and feeling at home. The staff was very nice, and helped me to sort out whatever needed to get sorted. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!
