4 April 2025 | Leipzig: A Deep Dive into the World of Books

Leipzig is a city rich in culture, history, and stunning architecture. Early April is the perfect time to check out our newest location, Wombat’s City Hostel Leipzig, while also exploring the Night of the Public Libraries (April 4^th). Enjoy a captivating program of events, workshops, readings, and guided tours that bring history to life.

19+20 April 2025 | Munich: Easter Weekend – All Things Swift

On April 19^th, 2024 (Poetry & the Creative Mind Day), Taylor Swift released The Tortured Poets Department, an album that would soon top international charts. To celebrate this date, Wombat’s City Hostels Munich (both Werksviertel and Hauptbahnhof) are dedicating the Easter weekend to the one and only Queen of Pop! Join us for a Swifties Karaoke Night on Saturday (April 19th) and a Night of All Things Swift on Sunday (April 20th).

21 April 2025 | London, Vienna, Munich: It’s Tea Time

It’s the UK’s National Tea Day, a holiday dedicated to “inspiring special moments with tea”. And since special moments are what we’re all about, we’re celebrating Tea Day in our City Hostels in London, Munich Werksviertel, and Vienna with a variety of teas, tasty snacks, and plenty of lighthearted fun.

BTW, April 21st is also Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday! It doesn’t get more British than this—especially at our High Tea Parties, Wombat’s-style. 😉

22 April 2025 | Earth Day – Wombat’s Lets the Sunshine In

The theme for Earth Day 2025 (April 22^nd) is "Our Power, Our Planet", calling for a global movement towards renewable energy and tripling clean electricity generation by 2030.

At Wombat’s, we try to do our part! We’re happy to announce the installation of new solar panels on the roof of our City Hostel London.
