Friendly welcoming staff, clean en-suite facilities, comfortable bed with personal air-con, light and charging area. Conveniently located and easy to find. All round great hostel :))

I had a nice stay at Wombat- it was a first hostel experience for my travel companions and I appreciated how we were able to get a 4 person private dorm. It was a really big hostel and it felt like people weren’t really social there and many were working on laptops. I wish the kitchen and lounge area were a bit bigger to account for so many people – we had a hard time finding a place to sit down and eat our meal! The area was near lots of takeaway restaurants and we got a discount to the Ferris wheel which was fun!

Was a nice experience for our first stay at a hostel. The stuff was a bit unenthusiastic. We asked if our collegue could join our room, because we booked seperately and she came for the second night, it was confirmed that it works but it didnt! Additionally our lockers didnt work.

Great vibrant location, excellent common area facilities, neat rooms and beddings. Loved the breakfast corner. A very helpful and happy faced front desk team who is always positive in outlook. I missed mobile/laptop charging points., though found them in restrooms.

Great hostel. Bunks had full curtains so felt very private, a big locker under the bed and a small one inside the bunk so super useful. One bathroom per room, which felt like it’d be a problem with 6 people in a dorm but never came up! facilities great. Staff super friendly and the bar downstairs was great! Location is super close to train station so it was very easy to get around munich. The area around the hostel had heaps of nice bars and food places, and on the weekends it’d get pretty noisy. Rooms were well insulated so as long as window is shut it’s not too noisy.

Richtig guter Platz, zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Direkt daneben Riesenrad und Konzerthalle. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Frühstück. Saubere Zimmer mit Bad, Dusche und WLAN. Die Rezeption ist 24/7 verfügbar und das Hostel immer offen. Für eine Übernachtung nach einem Konzert ideal.

Clean, quite and rooms very confortable.

Overall a satisfactory stay, but compared to the many other hostels I’ve stayed at, the amenities are lacking. No body wash or shampoo, no hand towels, brown toilet paper is annoying, and a very confusing HVAC system as well as weak water pressure. Comfortable beds and friendly staff however, but for the price, I have received better at other competitor’s hostels.

very loud location, earplugs or partying are a must. i LOVED the little light integrated in the bathroom power plug, GREAT IDEA!!!

I had a great experience. I travelled as a group of 3, stayed in a room for 4. The room and attached bathroom were very clean. The bed is very comfortable. It was lovely having a personal safe and locker. Additionally, the reception provided towels free of charge. The 24h reception is quick and accommodating. The hostel is easy to access, and is very connected to the metro lines. I would gladly stay here again.

I loved staying here:) There’s a kitchen to cook, a lounge to take a reat, a bed, locker and WC were all spacious. Staffs were friendly as well.

Good location, close to public transport. I was lucky and met only great & friendly staff! All areas are clean. Even the kitchen! Room was comfortable, clean, shower worked well and always with hot water. Breakfast is simple but tasty. I really enjoyed staying in hostel and can recommend this place for sure!

Staff are the only thing that could be improved here. Reception seem a little hostile, no smiles, no thank you, nothing, just seem uninterested which I found rude. Cleaning staff strange. Came in at 9am telling me I should check out even though I had another hour. She proceeded to use our bathroom (?!!) which I found pretty foul. Love the hostel design and the beds are comfortable. Very clean. But ja the staff are not what i’m used to, definitely need work.

Courteous staff, huge bar, huge lobby, great drinks, nice Barkeeper. Can’t complain about the cleaning staff either, couldn’t find a spot they haven’t taken care of. Compared to other citys it’s expensive but it’s munich, everything there is expensive.

Other guests were unacceptably noisy, exacerbated by poor construction and insulation (the room was more like an echo chamber!). No attempts seem to have been made to remind guests to be quiet after 10pm – yelling in the hallways, knocking down others‘ doors. We expected a Monday night in March would be okay, but it really wasn’t. I was recommended to stay here by a friend but would now recommend others do NOT stay here, unless you also intend to be up and out partying all night.

Das Hotel ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen! Das Zimmer war sauber und für eine Übernachtung perfekt. Vor allem, wenn man zu einem Konzert in die TonHalle möchte. Sehr kurzer Weg. Tolle Umgebung mit Restaurants, Bars und Cafés. Super Anbindung an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir würden dort immer wieder übernachten.

The overall stay was very nice. Especcially the rooms with the beds that allow privacy, the kitchen and the sofa lounge. But I was not in love with the Breakfast. The Muesli and Hummus was great, but I would appreciate Bread rolls which are not super dry and perhaps one more cheese for a better vegetarian selection. The coffee was good :)

I had a nice stay. Unfortunately a staff member opened my room early in the morning, not knowing that I was staying there as a guest. I am still asleep and a bit shocked. Felt creepy. The rest of my stay was nice.

I loved this hostel and spent a great 5 nights here. Beds are so comfortable and all have reading lights, fans and lockers. I also loved the curtains for privacy. Bathrooms were 2 each room and were very clean. Rooms are nice and quiet. The bar is a great bonus and I enjoyed the local beers there. Spoke to some very nice people while staying here and mostly to a very friendly Spanish girl called Suzanna. I loved exploring Munich during my stay and I also recommend a day trip to Dachau. Thank you all staff at Wombats and to Suzanna for the conversation and advice on what to see and do in Munich. I wish you all the best and hope you get many more satisfied customers.

Clean and modern rooms

The heating was extreamly too hot and we could not control it, so someone in the room let the window open. This was not a friendly behaviour from your hotel to save energy. Heating system should be down to 18 or 19 degrees. I think overall you could do more for a sustainable hostel.

Ótimo hostel, atendimento dos funcionários excelente ! Um ponto só, mas que desqualifica em né o hostel, a cortina do chuveiro fica dentro da área de banho, encostando e o banheiro fica molhado da mesma forma.
