We're thrilled to announce the newest addition to the Wombat's family - our new City Hostel in Leipzig! As of today, we've officially opened our doors in one of Germany's most vibrant and culturally rich cities. Did you know that Leipzig is Germany’s fastest-growing city?

Nestled in the heart of Leipzig's city centre, our new hostel sits at the gateway to the historic Waldstraße district. We've transformed the popular former "Sleepy Lion Hostel & Apartments" into a cozy 196-bed facility that blends the building's historic charm with Wombat's signature style.

Picture this: you can relax with a cup of Wombat’s roast coffee between high stucco ceilings and an almost psychedelic chequerboard pattern seventies style floor.
