Q: Do I need a hostel card?
No!

Q: Is there a curfew or lockout?
sorry, no stupid rules!

Q: Do you provide bedsheets?
Yes, they´re included in the rate.
 
Q: Is there an age limit?
There is a minimum age of 16 years old. If you are 16 or 17, you will need written permission from your parents. 

Q: Do you serve breakfast?
Yes, from 7:30 till 10.30 am, all you can eat, 3.80 Euros extra.

Q: Why is breakfast not included?
Because there are people who don´t want breakfast, or check out too early, or prepare their own. We don´t want to charge you for services you don´t use. We don´t want to make money on brekkie either. The 3.50/3.70 Euros barely cover the cost for the food you´ll eat and the staff to wash the dishes.

Q:How early do I need to book?
The earlier the better. The busiest months are May to October! Especially double rooms are often booked up weeks in advance.

Q: Until what time do you hold my reservation?
If you make a secured online booking on our website, there is no deadline - if you don´t show up at all, we´ll charge your credit card the amout of your first night´s stay. If you book by phone or email, we´ll wait till 4 pm!

Q: What time can I move into my room?
After everyone has checked out at latest 10 am and we have cleaned the room - 2 pm at the latest. In the meanwhile you can leave your luggage in the storage-room and even have a shower if you´re desperate...

Q: is there a guest kitchen in the Wombats Hostels?
Yes, there is a guest kitchen in Vienna (The Lounge and The Naschmarkt) and in Berlin as well. Munich and Vienna / The Base don't have a kitchen unfortunately.

Q: Do you offer free WIFI in the rooms?
No sorry, we offer free WiFi on the ground floor (lobby, bar & breakfast area).

You may ask yourself why there is no WiFi in the rooms:

There are two important reasons for us:

1. As a hostel, we want people to be able to meet other travellers from all around the world. Therefore, we are offering free WiFi in the common areas to make sure that people mingle!
2. In the dormitories, it is always nice to enjoy the silence and after a whole day of sight-seeing, we believe that nobody wants to hear their roommate Skype with mom or type emails all night long.

So, after going back and forth, we decided to keep the Internet on the ground floor and the electromagnetic pollution in the rooms to a minimum!
