Tel Aviv beach on the Danube Canal / 15.06.09

On the sunny side of Vienna’s Danube Canal, the Vienna Tel Aviv Beach is being created as a trendy meeting point with cult potential to mark the 100th anniversary of the Israeli metropolis.

Until September, the Danube Canal promises a beach feeling with high chill-out factor, a new cultural institution on the pulse of time, great entertainment acts and lavish delights on an international scale.

Be sophisticatedly marooned on the Danube Canal, opposite Flex and the Ring Tower. Urbane, cosmopolitan types and people with an affinity for culture and cuisine will be offered an atmosphere here that reflects the international feeling of the pulsating and historic city of Tel Aviv.

This new meeting point is complete with its own entertainment zone – stage, video screen and free WLAN included – spread out over an area of around 1,000 square meters of sand, on which up to 400 people can drop into original Tel Aviv beach chairs. All in all, it’s the perfect location for offering visitors Israeli celluloid classics, national and international DJ acts and live gigs, video presentations, numerous special events as well as a program for children and families.
