WE LOVEE THOMASSSS

Hostel je super, včetně personálu a prostředí. Výhodou rozhodně je blízkost centra a metra. Negativní je snad přílišný hluk (asi jsme na to měli štěstí:) puberťáků z D. Hostel je dost velký, takže o "rachot" všeho druhu není opravdu nouze, jinak vše OK!

The place is great, the people from the front desk are very nice and friendly and the breakfast is incredible good. Wombat's is certainly the place to stay when you go to Wien.
...I almost forgot: if you like to walk on foot, you can get in about 25 minutes to Schönbrunn Castle where now is a very nice Christmas Market.

it was even better stay than i expected!
we came to see Van GOgh exhibition and to have a fun..and we got it!!!
i want to thank u for unbeliavable adventure!!and of course..i can recommend it to everyone!

well, only nice things about Vienna and Wombat. The people in Wombat are nice, the messages on the walls are pretty funny. The Lunge has it's own bar and mini restaurant and a nice kittchen available to the guests. Unfortunatly the bar closes at around 2am, a little too early if you don't want to go to some of the other interesting clubs in Vienna.
The Lunge is at 30 meters away from the Mariastrasse, which is full of shops and 30 minutes walk (top) to the center of Vienna.
It was a wonderfull vacation.

Lässigste JH überhaupt, und die Bar ist nicht zu übertreffen....

The Wombat is one of the cleanest, friendliest, well run hostel's I've ever stayed in. Most hostel's are hotel's that are too run down to be marketed as hotel's.The wombat could easily be passed off as a hotel. If you want a clean, safe, hip place to crash, where the staff are cool as shit, while you party it up Mozart style, the Wombat is the place to be. Happy trails!

ich freu mich schon so auf die abschlussfahrt nächstes jahr (2009) denn da fahren wir nach wien . . . ich wollte da unbedingt hin weil in wien is die sprache sooooo toll und der dialekt einfach alles zur auswahl wäre auch noch gestanden berlin aber ich und meine freundinen haben auf wien bestanden und nun. . .toll jetz fahren wir ins Wombats the Base. .. wie geil ich freu mich schon sooo sehr. . . ich glaub des wird sooo ne tolle tolle zeit!!!

war ne coole zeit hier,hab eigentlich keine sekunde bereut,coole leute,gute stimmung und wien is sowieso der hammer.also immer wieder gerne =)

I´ve been in wombats city and i just want to say that it was amazing the people was very kind, the bar was excellent we had a lot of fun, and sincerly i really recomend it, it was the best hostel that i stay in all europe.

Die angegebenen Preise sind pro Person, d.h. 17 Euro kostet es pro Person im Mehrbettzimmer unabhängig von der Anzahl der Leute im Zimmer.

HEY, erstmal danke für die geniale Zeit in eurem Hostel... es war der Hamme rund wir hatten großen Spaß in der Hostelbar!! jetzt quält uns die Frage welche Version von "life is a highway" auf eurem Pc in der Bar gespeichert ist, da es unser offizielles Kursfahrtlied geworden ist!! Wir brauchen im Grunde nur den Interpreten, da wir zu viele Versionen gefunden haben!!!
Danke schonmal! Und BITTE antwortet, es geht um unsere Existenz als Partytiere!

Hey Caro!
Prnzipiell ist rund um unser Hostel keine Kurzparkzone; aufpassen musst du nur, dass du nicht direkt auf der Mariahilferstrasse parkst, weil dort gibt es schon eine Kurzparkzone.
Manchmal ist es schwierig direkt in unserer Gasse einen Parkplatz zu finden, aber in einer der Seitengassen sollte es kein Problem sein.

I have "been" in all 4 Wombats and there is no doubt: Wombats The Base is really the place to stay. I love the family feeling in the house, I love my beautiful Mimi and the whole staff there.
It's the place where I met Wombats my first time and

i strongly recommand wombats,it is the best place to stay in if u get to viena,the breakfast is great,prices are good,staff is very nice,plus they have a cute guy at the reception,that i've seen only once though hhehe..anyway if i ever get to viena again,wombats is my pick
