House of the Sea

 

The various departments shows of the House of the Sea present tropical fresh water and salt water fish as well as fish from the Mediterranean and Austrian lakes.

In the House of the Tropics and the Croc-Park you can see free-flying birds and free-roaming apes, crocodiles, and other animals categorized by habitat. In the terrarium section live poisonous as well as giant snakes, lizards, leaf-cutter ants, and tarantulas.
Other attractions are the roof terrace with an incredibly beautiful panorama view of Vienna.

Daily 9am-6pm, Thu 9am-9pm. (last entry one half hour before closing)
Shark Diving Thu 6pm
Feeding of sharks and piranhas Wed, Sun 3pm
Petting of snakes Wed 2pm
Feeding of reptiles Sun 10am, Thu 7pm
Admission: Children (3-5) 3.80 euro, Children (6-15) 5.60 euro, Retirees 9.10 euro, Adults 11.90 euro.
