Cirque du Soleil will erect its white tent for the show “Corteo” in Vienna from 10 February to 13 March. Sixty of the world’s best artists from 28 countries will enchant the crowd with acting and acrobatics of the very highest standard.

Corteo is an Italian word that describes a parade - in the Cirque du Soleil show, it is a cheerful and festive parade with a Carnival atmosphere, which plays out in the imagination of a clown. He takes the audience with him into a theatrical world full of fun, comedy and spontaneity - to a mysterious place between heaven and earth.

The Cirque du Soleil show, Corteo, which premiered in Montreal in 2005, has already been seen by five million people. It sets the big against the small, the humorous against the tragic and the magic of perfection against the charm of imperfection.
