Alfred Hrdlicka at the Belvedere

The summer exhibition at the Belvedere is dedicated to the exceptional sculptor Alfred Hrdlicka, who died in 2009.

The exhibition, which runs from the end of June to September, presents Hrdlicka's main artistic manifestations in the form of 15 selected stone sculptures. The Austrian sculptor concerned himself with issues of politics and social criticism. Characteristic of his creativity are figural and expressive stone sculptures.

Amongst his best-known works is the "Memorial against War and Fascism"
