Stayed in Wombats at the end of January... The best holiday I have ever had - period!
Made some friends for life in the Wombar. The staff are awesome, the hostel is comfortable, clean and amazing, and what can I say about the Wombar, I spent so much time there I should be able to say loads lol.
Hurry up and let us book for next March please, we're planning a Wombats reunion!

My boyfriend and I travelled around Europe in the Summer 2008. We stayed at Wombats in July 2008 in a private double room. It was one of the nicest places we stayed throughout our trip....much nicer than many of the cheap 'hotels' we stayed in. It is very clean, spacious rooms, in a good location and has a good atmosphere. I felt very safe whilst staying here and did not worry about leaving any belongings in my room.
Berlin is also a great city.

Hallo Laura,
wir haben in unserem Haus 4er und 6er Zimmer. Generell können wir leider nicht versprechen, dass wir Euch in ein 4er Zimmer legen können. Speziel im Sommer ist das sehr sehr schwer. WAS wir allerdings garantieren können ist, dass Ihr alle zusammen in ein Zimmer kommt.

Wie ist das denn mit Vierer-Zimmer buchen? Weil das ja in der Liste beim Online-Booking nicht steht... Deshalb blick ich da noch nicht so ganz durch :) Sind sowieso spät dran, dafür, dass wir ne ganze Woche in der Hauptzeit im Sommer kommen wollen...

i was at wombat in berlin it was a nice place for a cheap price an appartement tv fridge kitchin 1 double bed with a good vue on the city all for 80euro i think it a good deal.if you re looking for a place to stay in berlin just go there and also you have everything aroun restaurants cyber shopping center etc.....

Zu Deiner anderen Frage:
Ja, leider kann man im Voraus bei uns nur mit Kreditkarte buchen. Es gibt noch die Möglichkeit, 4 Wochen vor Anreise telefonisch ein Zimmer zu reservieren. Diese Reservierung können wir dann allerdings nur bis 16 Uhr am Anreisetag halten. Bis dahin muss das Zimmer von Euch bezahlt worden sein. Also einfach dann vor 16 Uhr anreisen :-)

Die BESTE Möglichkleit die es gibt.
Die Preise stimmen und das Personal
ist total freundlich & hilfsbereit.
Bei unserem nächsten Besuch werden
wir wieder kommen!!
Eine Nacht haben wir noch vor uns und
die wird lustig, wie jeder Tag im wombats wenn man hier ist ;-)

wir sind 5 mädels und wollen eine nacht im april in berlin verbringen. dazu haben wir zwei fragen :
wenn wir zu 5 ein 6er-zimmer nehmen, müssen wir dann das 6. bett mitbezahlen, damit wir unter uns sind?
und zweitens: beim buchen muss man ja die kreditkartennummer angeben... was ist, wenn man gar keine hat? kann man das so lösen, dass wir direkt mit unserer buchung das geld auf euer konto überweisen?
