A week for art

Everything in Vienna revolves around art for an entire week. "Vienna Art Week" offers a packed program for experts and interested members of the general public from 15 to 21 November 2010.

Museums, art spaces, galleries as well as many internationally recognized artists have placed Vienna firmly in the center of the international art radar in recent years. Over the last six years, "Vienna Art Week" has helped to reinforce this trend. It brings together international museum directors, curators, collectors and critics with personalities from Vienna's art scene.

Special tours through special exhibitions and show collections, city tours to artworks in the public domain, visits to the studios of artists, architects, designers and fashion-creators, exhibition openings, performances, discussions with artists and collectors, presentations and discussions on topics of contemporary art and architecture create a stimulating and creative setting for networking, exchange and communication. - With around 70 individual events, "Vienna Art Week" is the largest annual event in Vienna for art ranging from the Baroque to the present day.

ARTmART in the Künstlerhaus will be held again this year from 16 to 21 November: each work of art in the exhibition is available at the art market for beginners for the uniform price of € 80.00.
