This year one can experience a slightly different kind of Christmas market at the "kubik" lightroom installation in Votive Park. At this exceptional location, architecture, light and sound merge into a unique Advent attraction - featuring electronic music by DJs, punch and Christmas gift ideas.

The "kubik" lightroom installation at Sigmund Freud Park in front of the Votive Church offers an alternative to traditional Christmas markets this year. This noteworthy installation has already been hosted in numerous other European cities, and now the art project is stopping off in Vienna from mid-November to the end of December. The 'kubik" consists of filled water tanks that are illuminated from inside, creating spectacular light effects. Video artists can control each tank individually to create a light performance to the music. The tanks are arranged to form an accessible space, offering a novel interpretation of the traditional punch bar.

Rotating DJs from the home-grown electronica scene spin disks every day and each evening brings a new host - from Radio Superfly to the Vienna Integrationshaus.
