German Historical Museum / 06.10.08

The Zeughaus, a magnificent Baroque building, was originally an arsenal and later a military museum until it was destroyed in the Second World War. It has housed the German Historical Museum since 1990. After extensive reconstruction the permanent exhibition on German history has been on display again since June 2006. Special exhibitions are shown in the adjacent Pei-Bau.
