The 63th Berlinale filmfestival unrolls its red carpet for you.

This week, all Berliner bears wake up from their wintersleep to enjoy the glitter and glamour of one of the leading film festivals in the world (that's right, the world!). For 10 days, Berlin is all about who wins those much desired golden and silver bear awards. And the stars that light up the dark cinema halls are not the least: Matt Damon, Jane Fona and Anne Hathaway are just some of the actors that left their Hollywood-base for the Berlinade.

But the best about this festival is that it is open for YOU! With more than 400 films on display, it is actually the biggest public filmfestivals there is. Getting tickets might be tricky, but the ticketshops are opened daily from 10.00 to 8 pm (check http://www.berlinale.de/en/programm/eintrittskarten/index.html for the adresses).

So come to Berlin to enjoy red carpet moments, try your luck at the ticket booths, spot some stars or just enjoy the excitement around movie-bulwark Potsdammer Platz!
